Feeding and Training
What do you feed your dogs and puppies?
We feed our dogs and puppies Canidae Grain Free Salmon Meal Formula
(see www.Canidae.com for the store locator page to find a store near you) and raw frozen Primal
Nuggets. I pour coconut oil on the kibble and add Diatomous Earth which I get from
wolfcreekranch1.tripod.com. For loose stool I give the puppies rice bread or boiled rice. This always
works, never give regular bread as it has wheat or grain which causes hip displasia. Any grain is
very bad for dogs, humans, and all animals. Also, plain yogurt is great for the digestive cultures.
Who trains the dogs?
For all my Schutzhund training needs I go to Pete Medina at Golden State Training Acadamy
(www.CasaMedinaK9.com), he is one of the best trainers and he will get your dog a Schutzhund
title. Pete has a Schuntzhund club (which I am a member) and he has a Schutzhund field (which I
use). He is a very nice, unpretentious person, a great guy, and the owner of most of my stud dogs (I
like V19 Germany Ian von Fidelous). I also get great advice on how to train myself at
www.Leerburg.com.
